International Experience Canada (IEC)

IEC stands for "International Experience Canada." It is a program managed by the Government of Canada that provides opportunities for young people to travel and work in Canada. The IEC program is designed to facilitate cultural exchange and allow participants to gain valuable international work experience in Canada for a temporary period. Under the IEC program, individuals can apply for work permits through different categories such as Working Holiday, Young Professionals, and International Co-op.
You can only apply for a work permit under International Experience Canada if you have received an invitation to apply.*
Post Graduate Work Permit
Documents required:
- Proof of financial support (must have at least $2,500 CAD to support your first 3 months stay)
- Police Clearance Certificate
- Medical Exam
- Health Insurance
- Passport
- Digital Photos
- CV/Resume
- Information about family
- Visitor Visa or Electronic Travel Authorization
